ISSUE: I need to work in multi-database environment, so i need different shortcuts pointing to individual databases to go on a single click. Here's how :

Step 1 : Right click on the desktop- select new shortcut

Step 2 : In the properties of the Shortcut, give the file location and finish.  C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\71\RoleTailored Client\Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe


Step 3 : Go to properties >> shortcut >> target : give target.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\71\RoleTailored Client\Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe" -settings:"C:\Users\rroy\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\71\ClientUserSettings_LIVE.config"

Step 4 : In the config file, set the server instance value and ClientServicesPort.
